Something’s holding you back and I don’t know
Tell me where you are and take it slow
Time is running away and I don’t
want to hear you say
“I’ll find my way”
You find it hard to speak your mind tonight
No matter what the phrase, we’ll make it right
Look around, the lights
Are everywhere to you
It’s true, it’s true
Go down, slow moves
Are necessary too
It’s true, it’s true More… »
SO, sadly tomorrows gig in Lund got cancelled kinda last minute, we’re sorry about that, but we’ll try to schedule another show asap!
On a happier note, Slow Moves continues on its quest to world domination by getting some radio rotation in the US.
Have a nice weekend yallz.
Yesterday Swedish National radio P3 premiered Slow Moves on the show Musikguiden. In the discussion about this week’s new adds one of them even went as far as to call it “This one is even better than The Strokes’ latest”.
So little more than a week ago, “SLOW MOVES” was released. It has gotten some nice reviews from all of yalls and also getting some rotation on Swedish radio stations, and even a German indie show featured it.
We’ve also completed the first part of our spring tour, playing Uppsala, Stockholm, Umeå and Sundsvall. Thanks to all of you who went to see us, it’s been OUR pleasure, looking forward to the rest of the shows.
Oh, and keep an eye out here on our website for additional shows coming up this spring.
We had a great time last night at Grand Central in Stockholm. Many thanks to all of you who showed up and made it a night to remember. For the rest of you, see you in Umeå on Friday or Sundsvall on Saturday.
We’re so happy to announce that on March 25, the first single from our upcoming debut album is going to be released! The song is called “Slow Moves” and the melancholic vocals and sharp glimmering guitars haunting this track hints at what our album has in store.
We can also reveal that we´re doing a small kind of an Easter tour in connection with the single release. Gigs in Uppsala (3/23), Stockholm (3/26), Umeå (3/29), and Sundsvall (3/30) is planned. More dates will follow for the rest of the spring!
