And for those of you who read japanese – here´s an interview by the music magazine Skream <3
Today Sweden’s largest music blog PSL (a part of Swedish national televison, SVT) is breaking the video for our new single People.
Have a look here!
People is one of our oldest songs. It was written and recorded for the first time in 2008, and it’s been a key part of our live set ever since! When we selected which songs to record for our debut album, it was obvious that People should be one of them. By now, it’s even become the second single from there.
People was originally about embracing diversity, but after performing it so many times we’ve realized it’s about embracing You. You that keep on listening to us, keep on following us, etc. And that’s why we wanted to engage you in the making of the video! By letting anyone submitting short movie clips of themselves, we’ve got all kinds of People represented in the video (as well as one of the largest pigs in Canada). Can´t thank you enough for that!
The video is directed and produced by Henric Wallmark, Johan Åkerström, Katarina Sundman and Patrik Forsberg. Filmed by Patrik Forsberg. Edited by Henric Wallmark.
Hope you enjoy it,
That’s right, we’ve been working hard on this album for a long time and now we can proudly say that we have a release date for our wildly anticipated debut. Actually, it will be released in Japan first, by Rimeout Recordings on the 18th of December. The rest of the world will have to wait until February 5th, 2014.
The name of the record, “Slow Moves” is in some way a suiting metaphor considering how much time has passed since we started working on it. We wanted our debut album to be brilliant and we wouldn’t want to release anything short of that. Now we feel like our record is there, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
As you might remember, the title track and the first single off of the record was released earlier this year. Next week the second single will be released. It’s called People and will be released digitally on December 3rd worldwide. Some of you have contributed with material to the accompanying music video, and we’re very thankful for your help. You will be able to see the final result of that VERY soon.
Had a great time at the club Heartland in Lund almost two weeks ago, here’s some pics yo

We’re playing the classic(although this year, kinda new-ish?) Hultsfredsfestivalen in eleven days, and Clooney’s in Gothenburg this friday night.
What a way to start off the summer.
This thing has been in the making for quite some time now, and we’re now happy to announce that we’ve signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Publishing. We’re glad to have them with us and we’re looking forward to be working with them on our upcoming album and in the future.
Something’s holding you back and I don’t know
Tell me where you are and take it slow
Time is running away and I don’t
want to hear you say
“I’ll find my way”
You find it hard to speak your mind tonight
No matter what the phrase, we’ll make it right
Look around, the lights
Are everywhere to you
It’s true, it’s true
Go down, slow moves
Are necessary too
It’s true, it’s true
SO, sadly tomorrows gig in Lund got cancelled kinda last minute, we’re sorry about that, but we’ll try to schedule another show asap!
On a happier note, Slow Moves continues on its quest to world domination by getting some radio rotation in the US.
Have a nice weekend yallz.
Yesterday Swedish National radio P3 premiered Slow Moves on the show Musikguiden. In the discussion about this week’s new adds one of them even went as far as to call it “This one is even better than The Strokes’ latest”.
What can we say other than that we’re glad Slow Moves is getting that kinda praise, it kinda deserves it doesn’t it?
Here’s a link btw, about 19:50 in(Swedish)
